I was showing some Guides how to make 'Suffolk Puffs'/Yo-Yo flowers to decorate bags at the weekend and thought I would make some for my card this week. I had a rummage through my fabric box and luckily found some scraps in just the colours I needed. I finished the centres with matching buttons and thread in the same colours. The panelled background was created using a Hero Arts stamp and the design was completed with two small butterflies from the same set.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Birds N Butterflies (Hero Arts)
Ink Pad: Smokey Gray (VersaFine)
Snippets: Cotton fabric, Buttons, Thread, White and yellow linen card scraps, Sentiment stamp
I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteThis is so fun and creative. Something I'd never think to do. I really like the puffiness and 3D of your flowers and the stamps you have combined them with is beautiful. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are amazing. I just want to touch them. Love the 3D effect. Thanks so much for playing along at our 200th challenge at CASology.
ReplyDeleteFabulous Suffolk puffs. I used to make clown dolls out of them for school fairs way back when!
ReplyDeleteHey Stef! I love your fabric buttons. Nicely done. Thank you so much for playing with us this week at CASology.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers add beautiful dimension to your CAS card Stef!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us for this special CASology challenge!
Awesome flowers!
ReplyDeleteYour fabric yo-yo flowers made me smile! My grandmother made a quilt top out of them; I do remember it took her a long time to make it! Your little dimensional butterflies are sweet, too.
ReplyDeleteLove this great idea with flowers! Very beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that you had the right colours - you must have a fabric box the size of a house! I love the delicate background you've made to set them off perfectly.
