The poppy image from The Stamp Barn has been stamped straight onto an ivory card blank in Versamark and embossed with metallic gold EP. I have simply coloured in the poppies with the very appropriate Poppy Red Promarker and have tried to get some shading by going over the innermost areas of the flowers several times.
I'm sorry that the photo isn't the best quality. It's a real pain this time of the year not being at home in the daylight and having to photograph all my cards in unnatural light! Anyway I would like to enter it into the following challenges:

The Norfolk Countryside is indeed beautiful in Poppy time Stef, as it is here in the Cambridgeshire Fens where the two Counties roll into one another. Like you my love of Poppies goes back to childhood and I never tire of creating cards using them.

ReplyDeleteSo many of us have childhood memories of poppies - for me it was seeing them in the fields when we were travelling to the coast on our annual holiday - along with the rabbits running in the fields - oh happy days,
